VOLUNTEER IN KENYA TEACHING PROGRAMME
Volunteer in a Kenyan orphanage
Our volunteers gives hope to these needy cases working hand in hand with the few teachers available in schools.
Our volunteers in Kenya have the opportunity to assist with the teaching of different subjects in both primary and high schools as they give hope to these needy cases working hand in hand with the few teachers available in schools.
Volunteer teachers can teach Mathematics, Geography, Science, Social Sciences, History, Business Education, Music, English and Art. Volunteers need not have teaching experience but should preferably be high school graduate and should be able to speak English we also give volunteers a chance to choose the subjects they are comfortable to teach in consultation with the local teachers.
The school holidays are in April, August and December therefore there will be no teaching taking place at this time. The volunteers who would want to come earlier before the schools open will be able to join other programmes while awaiting the schools to open. To avoid disrupting the schools progamme and make an impact to the children this programme requires volunteers to make a minimum commitment of one month.
